Brand Manager AV Presentation Technology

An exciting new opportunity to work for a top AV technology distributor representing globally respected audio visual brands across Australia. This is a key position, reporting to the product management team leader and working closely with the general manager, technology manufacturers, systems integrators, AV consultants and installer partners. The brand portfolio is focused on presentation technologies, communications and meeting spaces.
A varied role, you will take control of planning and forecasting product purchasing and inventory management to meet client demand, meeting with national sales managers to anticipate demand ahead of time. You will also report your market findings from customer interactions to the product management lead, general manager, national sales managers and the manufacturers you represent.
You will assist specialist audio visual systems integrators and the in-house sales team with presales and post sales support for product implementation and operation including:
- Attending sales meetings as a brand subject matter expert
- Train colleagues in your products in both sales and support
- Prepare product and brand information for your colleagues in sales and customer service
- Attend and set-up exhibitions and trade shows and represent your brands to industry influencers and buyers
- Manage and maintain loan stock of your products
- Manage all claims and returns of stock and report this to the leadership team on a monthly basis
Must have proven success in brand management, product management or similar role, ideally with a technology distribution business. Knowledge of commercial audio visual products and brands is essential, ideally in meeting space and presentation technologies, with the ability to talk in both technical terms and end-user/customer outcomes. This is a client facing role requiring excellent communication skills and strong commercial awareness.
