Senior Brand Manager AV Technology — Mulloway Recruitment
Full time — Sydney NSW.
An exciting new opportunity to work for a top AV technology distributor representing globally respected brands across Australia. This is a key position, reporting to the General Manager and working closely with manufacturers and systems integrator partners. Your brand portfolio is focused on commercial audio technology offering full solutions for integrated systems in large venues and similar applications.
A varied role, you will take control of planning and forecasting product purchasing and inventory management to meet client demand, meeting with National Sales Managers to anticipate demand ahead of time. You will also report your market findings from customer interactions to the General Manager, National Sales Managers and the manufacturers you represent.
You will assist systems integrator customers, end-user organisations and the in-house sales team with presales and post sales support for product implementation and operation, including attending sales meetings as a brand subject matter expert. Train colleagues in your products in both sales and support, and prepare product and brand information for your colleagues in sales and customer service. Attend and set-up exhibitions and trade shows and represent your brands to industry influencers and buyers.
Finally, you will also manage and maintain loan stock of your products, manage all claims and returns of stock and report this to the GM on a monthly basis.
Must have proven success in brand management, product management or similar role, ideally with a technology distribution business. Knowledge of audio visual integrated systems and their component products is essential, with the ability to talk in both technical terms and end-user/customer outcomes. Professional audio and commercial audio technology knowledge and its application in large venues would be valuable. This is a client facing role requiring excellent communication skills and strong commercial awareness.
