NEW AUSTRALIAN MONITOR AMPLIFIERS AT INTEGRATE
Local AV brand, Australian Monitor is expanding its amplifier family with the release of its next generation HSP series.
Drawing on over 30 years of industry knowledge, the Australian Monitor team has extended the HS family, adding DSP and RS232 functionality and making design improvements to revitalise its popular class D power amp range.
Owned by Hills Limited, Australian Monitor currently exports to 15 countries across Europe, South East Asia and Middle East. The brand prides itself in creating a range of integrator friendly installation mixers, mixer amplifiers, amplifiers, speakers, microphones and accessories for the commercial market.
The new HSP series delivers high quality audio reinforcement in single, dual channel and quad channel 120W or 250W models. Offering USB and RS232 for integration with third party controllers, a PC graphical user interface and a mini DSP for volume control, input channel selection and filtering, this next generation power amp series features the technology to achieve high quality commercial sound reinforcement at a competitive price point.
Hills CEO and Managing Director, David Lenz, said the range had been designed and engineered in Australia, with the needs of the Australian market firmly in mind. “The HSP series offers the power of DSP and the benefits of third party control to the mid-range amp market, offering AV integrators a reliable, versatile amplifier for applications that are price sensitive but still require high quality commercial sound reinforcement.”
The single channel amps are perfect for pubs, clubs and any venue where high end back ground music is required, while the multi-channel amps offer the versatility needed for corporate, government and education.
Lenz said Hills will continue to invest in R&D for the Australian Monitor portfolio. “We’ve completed a refresh of the entire product line and there are more product releases in the pipeline,” he said.
Hills will launch the HSP series at Integrate 2018 to be held at the ICC Sydney, Darling Harbour from 22-24 August. Visit the Hills team on stand C4 to see the latest technology from Australian Monitor.
