ALCONS AUDIO AT INFOCOMM

InfoComm 2018 sees Alcons Audio showcasing the benefits of its industry-leading, pro-ribbon audio technology in three separate areas, as well as introducing two new products to the US market.

Introduction to Alcons Pro-Ribbon Sound Systems will be available in demo room N105. Astro Spatial Audio: Alcons Pro-Ribbon Immersive Experience will provide examples of high-quality immersive sound demonstrations, hourly in demo room N106.

Special guests, including world renowned FOH engineer Buford Jones, will be on hand at Booth C582 to explain why they have chosen to partner with Alcons Audio.

VR5

The VR5 is Alcons’ smallest pro-ribbon system to date and the first professional audio monitor that features Alcons patent-pending dispersion technology. The two-way system comprises a purpose-designed 5-inch LF and RBN202 2-inch pro-ribbon HF driver on a 90° x 60° wave-guide, offering an ultra-clean, benchmark-setting clarity and imaging.

LR18B

The LR18B is the dedicated low-frequency extension to the LR18 pro-ribbon line-array. Loaded with a new-generation dual-coil, super-stroker 18-inch woofer, the LR18B delivers highest output under lowest distortion; It is also reversible for cardioid deployment in ground-stacked or flown configurations, as part of an LR18 system, or as separate array.

ALControl

ALControl is Alcons’ proprietary software program, to configure, control and monitor individual or multiples of Sentinel amplified loudspeaker controllers. The new release brings new features, under further optimised set-up and fully-intuitive operation. ALControl is extending the unique capabilities of Sentinel even further.
