Position Vacant: AV Service & Commissioning Technician

To support our growth around the design, implementation and support of video conferencing and collaboration solutions that support hybrid work, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced AV Service & Commissioning Technician to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for all things related to supporting our customers onsite from the point of system commissioning and project completion, through to ensuring they get the service they need to maintain and optimise their systems over the longer term.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Previous experience within the Audio Visual / video conferencing industry and working within a similar role
  • Previous experience working with video conferencing room systems with a particular focus on Microsoft Teams Rooms
  • Previous experience commissioning AV systems in commercial environments
  • A methodical approach to fault finding, diagnosis and resolution of technical issues
  • Ability to work autonomously and make technical decisions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • A demonstrated history of reliability, dependability, and trustworthiness
  • Ability to forge relationships with clients and have a genuine interest in helping people
  • A can-do and flexible attitude towards work
  • Willingness to learn and upskill by attending online and in-person training sessions
  • Be comfortable working with hand and power tools
  • Assist our onsite project delivery team if required
  • Love our customers so they love us!

Qualifications:

  • Solid experience in a technical service role, preferably in the audio visual, IT or Modern Workplace industry
  • Proven track record of delighting customers with good communication and organisational skills
  • Strong understanding of modern workplace technology
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A drive to constantly improve the way we support our customers
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Zoom and other Modern Workplace technologies
  • Experience with Biamp and QSC DSP’s is strongly preferred
