About The Role

Due to a national merger, which has seen four regions combined and significant growth plans in our future, we are looking for a high-achieving General Manager to join our executive team. You will play a leading role by driving the development, implementation and achievement of the organisation’s strategic plan as well as leading all aspects of Sales, Operations, Service, Engineering, and Project teams. 

You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the financial management, accounting, reporting and profitability of the organisation whilst balancing the future needs for investment in people, growth, technology and other longer-term objectives. We expect you to be adding strategic value at the executive level but also be hands-on and an effective communicator leading 30 regional team members in Victoria.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated achievement and experience in a GM/Head of Operations role
  • Proven history in leading and inspiring individuals and teams to achieve successful outcomes
  • A track record in generating and delivering outcomes, on-budget and to tight schedules
  • Proven ability to build positive, enduring relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent communication, influencing and problem-solving skills
  • Prior experience in a technology-based industry with recurring revenue streams/enterprise consumption or with an organisation with multi-sites and projects is advantageous
  • A demonstrated commitment to continual improvement and learning
