Spanish professional audio and video manufacturer, Ecler, has inked an exclusive distribution agreement, for all its range, with Australis Music Group.

Since 1965 Ecler has been particularly well known for its power amplifier product. Over the years its range has grown to include loudspeakers, matrixes, remotes, DSP, along with software platforms for management and control. Video is another emerging part of the Ecler product line that is proving to be attractive thanks to a no-nonsense approach to signal transport and management in applications such as hospitality.

But it’s Ecler’s amplifiers that invariably start the conversation, and its top-of-the-range VIDA amplifiers (released in 2023) are state of the art. The four-channel amplifiers’ outputs can be independently configured in high (100/70V) or low (8/4/2Ω) impedance. VIDA features proprietary VersaPower which allows an asymmetrical power distribution, and thanks to the Smart VersaPower tool it helps installers by facilitating a smart and fast configuration. VIDA offers a wide range of I/O possibilities thanks to its four analogue and four Dante/AES67 digital inputs, audio player (with microSD slot for local audio files) as well as signal generator, plus two auxiliary line outputs and four Dante/AES67 digital outputs. All these features are managed from an intuitive web app which, among other functionalities, allows signal routing, audio signal processing, priority management, GPIO configuration through events, as well as calendar events, playlist management and SD card content, thus facilitating the start-up of the audiovisual installation, its maintenance and customisation. Thanks to the Android/iOS/Web application available to the end user, the audio installation can be managed in an easy, intuitive, and customised way. VIDA is an AV installation powerhouse.

All of Ecler’s audio and video products can now be remotely monitored thanks to EclerCLOUD – announced at ISE 2024 – making the Ecler range very attractive to systems integrators looking for an affordable one-stop enterprise-wide remote monitoring solution.

“We’re delighted to find the right partner for the Australia/NZ market,” commented Ecler Sales Director, Luis Hinojar. “We believe there is a big potential to increase our business in the ANZ market and have no doubt Australis Music Group will do a good job for us.

“Ecler is an innovator but we’re best known for our reliability. We offer a five-year warranty on all our product, unmatched in our industry.”

Australis Music Group’s National Business Development Manager, David Kelly, is equally upbeat about the new agreement: “This is a powerful new addition to the Australis Music Group portfolio. The Ecler offering complements our existing range and really strengthens our commercial audiovisual product offering.”
